Bills' Kolby Listenbee: I'm the fastest player in the NFL
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kolby Listenbee isn't lacking confidence as he enters the NFL.
A sixth-round pick of the Bills, Listenbee thinks he can outpace anyone.
"I'm the fastest player probably in the NFL," Listenbee told ESPN's Mike Rodak. "So I bring speed, I got great hands. Right now, I got a chip on my shoulder because I got to go out there and show what I have and I mean. I just work hard."
Listenbee said he could participate in this summer's Olympics if wanted to, and that his draft stock descended because he ran the 40-yard dash at the combine with a double sports hernia. Although the hernia later required corrective surgery, he still posted a blistering 4.39 mark.
"Probably would have had a million dollars, to be honest," Listenbee said. "I mean, I think my track time says enough. I don't even need to run the 40. I got drafted. I mean, Coach has seen me, what I can do. I basically - when they say I was going to be a 4.30, 4.33 with the sports hernia, so I mean, it is basically a 4.25 to me."
Listenbee may not even be the fastest player on the Bills, as fellow wide receiver Marquise Goodwin represented the United States in long jump at the 2012 Olympics, posting a 4.27 40-yard dash time. Regardless, Listenbee's confidence will likely be welcomed by the Bills' coaching staff.
