Conforto is a career .305 hitter against right-handed pitching and will get to take on middling righty Jhoulys Chacin at home. He has hit .400 and driven in 10 runs over his last 10 games and continues to be a very affordable cash-game staple.
Hernandez typically leads off against lefties, owing to his career .367 batting average against southpaws. At his modest salary, he could hit tournament-level returns on Wednesday.
Aoki is entrenched in the Mariners' lead-off role, which will mean roughly five plate appearances to take advantage of his overwhelmingly positive splits against left-handed pitching. From 2013 to 2015, Aoki hit .345 with an .804 OPS against southpaws and will look to set the table often and early against rookie Sean Manaea, making just his second MLB start.
Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |

Bryce Harper (WAS) | at KC | 7 |
Hunter Pence (SF) | at CIN | 7 |
Matt Kemp (SD) | vs. COL | 7 |
Miguel Sano (MIN) | at HOU | 7 |
Christian Yelich (MIA) | vs. ARI | 7 |
Melky Cabrera (CWS) | vs. BOS | 7 |
Brock Holt (BOS) | at CWS | 7 |
Curtis Granderson (NYM) | vs. ATL | 7 |
Ian Desmond (TEX) | at TOR | 7 |
George Springer (HOU) | vs. MIN | 6 |
Adam Jones (BAL) | vs. NYY | 6 |
Billy Hamilton (CIN) | vs. SF | 6 |
Brandon Guyer (TB) | vs. LAD | 6 |
Mallex Smith (ATL) | at NYM | 6 |
Mark Trumbo (BAL) | vs. NYY | 6 |
Yasiel Puig (LAD) | at TB | 6 |
Pence has an extra-base hit in eight of his last 10 games, including four doubles, three home runs and a triple. Add six singles and eight walks over that span, and Pence has been racking up the runs and RBIs at a superstar pace. That has served to drive his price to astronomical levels, so even with a good matchup in Cincinnati, it will take a ton for him to return value.

Adam Eaton (CWS) | vs. BOS | 5 |
Steven Souza Jr. (TB) | vs. LAD | 5 |
Matt Holliday (STL) | vs. PHI | 5 |
Jose Bautista (TOR) | vs. TEX | 5 |
Charlie Blackmon (COL) | at SD | 5 |
Justin Upton (DET) | at CLE | 5 |
J.D. Martinez (DET) | at CLE | 5 |
Colby Rasmus (HOU) | vs. MIN | 5 |
Yasmany Tomas (ARI) | at MIA | 5 |
Domingo Santana (MIL) | vs. LAA | 5 |
Nick Markakis (ATL) | at NYM | 5 |
David Peralta (ARI) | at MIA | 4 |
Michael Brantley (CLE) | vs. DET | 4 |
Jacoby Ellsbury (NYY) | at BAL | 4 |
Lorenzo Cain (KC) | vs. WAS | 4 |
Kole Calhoun (LAA) | at MIL | 4 |
Denard Span (SF) | at CIN | 4 |
Randal Grichuk (STL) | vs. PHI | 4 |
Brantley is very expensive, owing to his reputation as an intimidating presence at the dish in years past. Since making his return, however, he has gone just 2-for-17 with just one walk. He will hit sooner than later, but for now, the former All-Star is nothing more than an expensive contrarian play.

Brett Gardner (NYY) | at BAL | 3 |
Corey Dickerson (TB) | vs. LAD | 3 |
Jay Bruce (CIN) | vs. SF | 3 |
Alex Gordon (KC) | vs. WAS | 3 |
Billy Burns (OAK) | vs. SEA | 2 |
Josh Reddick (OAK) | vs. SEA | 2 |
Gregory Polanco (PIT) | vs. CHC | 2 |
Joc Pederson (LAD) | at TB | 1 |
Jason Heyward (CHC) | at PIT | 1 |
Reddick can't hit Felix Hernandez (7-for-52 with just two extra-base hits for his career) and Polanco and Pederson can't hit lefties.
Heyward's lingering wrist injury has held him out of his last two games, and he was only hitting .211 on the season to begin with. Given the considerable salary figure he demands in DFS, there's no sense in tying up big money for a player who might not make the lineup.
