NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Logan Forsythe (TB) | at SEA | 10 |
Derek Dietrich (MIA) | vs. MIL | 10 |

Jed Lowrie (OAK) | at BOS | 9 |
Jean Segura (ARI) | at COL | 8 |
Ben Zobrist (CHC) | vs. SD | 8 |
Forsythe is proving his breakout 2015 season was no fluke. He has been the lone productive offensive player on the Rays. What gives him added value on Tuesday is his offensive prowess against lefties. He had an OPS of .972 last season against southpaws, and an OPS of 1.073 this season against LHP. He has a juicy matchup against struggling lefty Wade Miley.
Dietrich usually bats in the leadoff spot against righties, and rightly so. He has an OBP of .417 against RHP this season. Reaching base once and scoring is all it will take for Dietrich to return value.

Brett Lawrie (CWS) | at TEX | 7 |
DJ LeMahieu (COL) | vs. ARI | 7 |

Brandon Phillips (CIN) | vs. PIT | 5 |
Jedd Gyorko (STL) | at LAA | 5 |
Cano was just named AL player of the week after hitting .516 with seven extra base hits. However, against a tough left-hander in Drew Smyly, Cano should be limited to just GPPs. Smyly has a 2.72 ERA this season and has held lefty hitters to a .233 OBP in his career.
Nothing to See Here

Joe Panik (SF) | vs. TOR | 4 |
Rougned Odor (TEX) | vs. CWS | 3 |
Johnny Giavotella (LAA) | vs. STL | 2 |

Panik and Odor, both left-handed hitters, will face tough left-handed pitchers on Tuesday in J.A. Happ (2.50 ERA) and Carlos Rodon (33 Ks in 33 IP) and should be left alone.
