Jerry Jones in favor of Las Vegas team

One of the NFL's most influential owners is in favor of the idea of a team based in Las Vegas.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told reporters Wednesday that he welcomes a discussion about Las Vegas becoming the home of an NFL franchise.
The NFL has long avoided any ties to gambling, which the city is inexorably linked with, but Jones said the entertainment opportunities Las Vegas provides outweigh any such concerns.
The Oakland Raiders have been linked to a move to Las Vegas, but need to overcome several major hurdles before relocation can happen.
If power players like Jones keep speaking out in favor of putting a team in Sin City, though, the likelihood of it happening will greatly increase.
