Report: Manchester United emerges as favourite to sign Ibrahimovic
Manchester United has reportedly become the front-runners to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the summer transfer window.
The lanky goal-scorer confirmed Friday that he was leaving Paris Saint-Germain once his contract expires in the summer, and United has emerged as favourite to secure his signature, according to a report from Jason Burt of the Telegraph.

Having dominated the Dutch, Italian, Spanish, and French top flights, the Bundesliga and Premier League remain as the two major European leagues the 34-year-old Swede has yet to attack, with United appearing the likeliest to convince Ibrahimovic to make the English pilgrimage.
With Louis van Gaal's tenure at Old Trafford likely nearing its end, and Jose Mourinho - who managed Ibrahimovic while at Inter Milan - tipped for the top job, the Swedish international could be lured to Stretford even in spite of his massive salary demands.
Ibrahimovic's agent, the ever-contentious Mino Raiola, has reportedly demanded £300,000-a-week after taxes for his client, and is thought to have kicked off discussions with United.
With United sitting fifth in the Premier League, two points adrift of rival Manchester City with one match to play, the club's failure to qualify for next season's Champions League could dissuade Ibrahimovic from making the switch to England, with the continental top-flight trophy the only honour that has escaped the strident striker.
