Fan keeps promise to himself, eats 17-year-old Vince Carter cereal
After nearly two decades, Toronto Raptors fan Andy Pyne finally got to taste his Vince Carter Cocoa Frosted Flakes.
Pyne had been keeping the unopened box of cereal - which Carter appeared on during his as Rookie of the Year during the 1998-99 season - at his house, and made a promise that he would eat a bowl of it if the Raptors advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals.

After the Raptors eliminated the Miami Heat on Sunday, Pyne cracked open the box.
"It smells like victory," Pyne told CBC Radio. "A little bit of Vince Carter in there, some hints of Charles Oakley. There's definitely some (Andrea) Bargnani in there.
"It's kind of like a spruce mulch. There's definitely some sugar in there."
