Whether you like him or not, Ronaldo is unquestionably one of the greatest there has ever been. A complete legend of the sport.

While many acknowledged Ronaldo for scoring the winner, others pointed to his otherwise poor performance over 120 minutes of action:
Ronaldo couldn't get his shirt off fast enough after that PK, but of course it had to be him. Lousy game, delivers at the moment.

Unreal how Ronaldo was in Savic & Godin's back pockets the whole game but hit the final pen and is suddenly the hero.

Ronaldo may not have had his best night but all-time greats produce historic moments under immense pressure and the lad stepped up. Gold.

Can't believe people are disregarding Ronaldo just like that. Yes he was poor in the final but his 16 goals led them here.
