Watch: Betts smacks 5th HR in last 7 at-bats
Note: Stop pitching to Mookie Betts.
After launching three home runs in Tuesday's victory at Camden Yards, the precocious Boston Red Sox right fielder smacked another two bombs in his first two at-bats Wednesday in Baltimore, giving him five round-trippers in his last seven plate appearances.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, Betts has now tied the MLB record for most home runs (five) in a two-game span thanks to a leadoff blast off Orioles right-hander Mike Wright - his second in as many nights - and a solo shot in the top of the second.
Betts, who quipped that Tuesday was probably the "best night" of his baseball career, now has nine homers in his last 19 games after going deep just five times through his first 34 contests in 2016.
