Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Ben Zobrist (CHC) | vs. ARI | 10 |
Ian Kinsler (DET) | vs. CWS | 10 |
Dustin Pedroia (BOS) | vs. TOR | 9 |
Devon Travis (TOR) | at BOS | 9 |
Jed Lowrie (OAK) | at HOU | 9 |
Jose Altuve (HOU) | vs. OAK | 8 |
Brian Dozier (MIN) | vs. TB | 8 |
Daniel Murphy (WAS) | at CIN | 8 |
In the National League's best offense, Zobrist is the handle that turns the crank. He's hitting .335/.440/.514 this season and has somehow performed better in each of those categories over his past 10 games. Hitting out of the five-spot has turned Zobrist into one of baseball's premier RBI machines. He's a must-play in cash games.

Yangervis Solarte (SD) | vs. COL | 4 |
Aledmys Diaz (STL) | vs. SF | 4 |
Cesar Hernandez (PHI) | vs. MIL | 4 |
Chase d'Arnaud (ATL) | at LAD | 4 |
Brett Lawrie (CWS) | at DET | 4 |
On many sites, Cano is the most expensive batter not known as Big Papi. With a .409 OBP and four big flies over his past 10 games, it's not completely unwarranted, especially with a soft match-up against Derek Holland, a pitcher that Cano has slashed .375/.405/.650 against in 40 at-bats. The low valuation is simply a matter of other talented two-baggers available at a lesser price.
Odor will make his return to the Rangers, having served his suspension for punching Jose Bautista in the face. Considering Odor hit just .143 with a .326 OPS in the 10 games prior to suspension, it will be worth giving him a day or two to get his feet wet again, even with a great lefty-versus-righty match-up with RHP Hisashi Iwakuma.

Jonathan Schoop (BAL) | vs. NYY | 3 |
Omar Infante (KC) | at CLE | 3 |
Johnny Giavotella (LAA) | at PIT | 2 |
Starlin Castro (NYY) | at BAL | 2 |
Jean Segura (ARI) | at CHC | 1 |
Castro has completely fallen off after a torrid start to his tenure in the Bronx. Segura will find himself overmatched against reigning NL Cy Young winner Jake Arrieta.
