Report: Manchester City in advanced talks with Dortmund to sign Aubameyang
Manchester City reportedly wants more backflips at the Etihad Stadium.
According to Sky Sports, City is in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the German club's top scorer in the Bundesliga last season who tallied 25 goals and five assists through 31 appearances.
The report comes five days after City signed Ilkay Gundogan from Dortmund for a reported fee of £20 million, and goes against a story published in March by AS. The Spanish daily claimed that Real Madrid had sealed a deal with the Gabonese forward, whose childhood dream is to play for Los Blancos as he promised his grandfather that he would play at the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Marcus Christenson of the Guardian, City would have to pay in the region of £55 million for Aubameyang, who would be the replacement for Wilfried Bony in the likely event that he leaves the Etihad Stadium.
