Watch: Trumbo, Davis make Royals pay after brawl
This is how you get revenge for an intentional hit-by-pitch.
After the Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles brawled when Manny Machado charged Yordano Ventura following a hit-by-pitch, tempers at Oriole Park at Camden Yards were at a fever pitch. Once both players were ejected, the Orioles' big boppers took out their anger on reliever Chien-Ming Wang.
Mark Trumbo, the first man up after the brawl, took Wang's first pitch well out of the ballpark for a two-run homer to open up a 7-1 lead. The blast made Trumbo the first player to reach the 20-homer mark in 2016.
Wang's second pitch was delivered to Chris Davis, and it suffered a similar fate. Davis belted his 13th long ball of the year just beyond the outstretched glove of Lorenzo Cain, who missed grabbing his second miracle catch of the game by a few inches.
The Royals have to hope young Mr. Ventura learned his lesson while watching those runs come around to score from the clubhouse.
