Peter Llewellyn / USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's first baseman/DH value rankings for Sunday, June 12 (all stats exclude Saturday's games):

Value Rankings

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Chris Davis (BAL) at TOR 10
Steve Pearce (TB) at HOU 9
Wil Myers (SD) at COL 8
David Ortiz (BOS) at MIN 8
Paul Goldschmidt (ARI) vs. MIA 8
Tommy Joseph (PHI) at WAS 8
Anthony Rizzo (CHC) at ATL 8

Davis absolutely loves hitting Toronto as evidenced by his career slash line of .336/.430/.732. He has also gone deep in 15 of those 149 at-bats, and has also done so in the first two games of this series. The icing on the cake? Davis has already taken SP Aaron Sanchez deep twice in just seven career at-bats.

Pearce is 7 for 9 in his past three games while also adding three RBI. He excels against lefties and gets the volatile SP Dallas Keuchel Sunday.

Joseph has officially replaced Ryan Howard in Philadelphia. He celebrated his promotion by going yard twice on Saturday. With four homers and seven RBIs in his past five games, now seems like a fine time to roster the newly minted starter.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Jose Abreu (CWS) vs. KC 7
Joey Votto (CIN) vs. OAK 7
Miguel Cabrera (DET) at NYY 7
Victor Martinez (DET) at NYY 7
Eric Hosmer (KC) at CWS 7
Matt Adams (STL) at PIT 7
Ryan Rua (TEX) at SEA 7
David Freese (PIT) vs. STL 7
Edwin Encarnacion (TOR) vs. BAL 6
Brandon Belt (SF) vs. LAD 6
Brandon Moss (STL) at PIT) 6
Dae Ho Lee (SEA) vs. TEX 6
Ryan Zimmerman (WAS) vs. PHI 6

Abreu has multi-hit games in five of his past seven as he works to correct his .256 batting average. With SP Yordano Ventura sporting a .271 BAA on the road this year, expect Abreu to continue his correction.

Freese may draw into the Pittsburgh lineup. In a small sample size of 13 at-bats against Mike Leake, Freese has hit an impressive .538 with one homer.

Rua is a decent cash game option with a career .305 average against lefties. Rua has also scored four times and driven in five runs through his last 10 games.

If Moss was lining up against a righty, he might be a perfect 10. But considering he has hit .200 and not one home run against lefties this season, Moss possesses middle-of-the-pack value, especially in PNC Park.

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Joe Mauer (MIN) vs. BOS 5
Adrian Gonzalez (LAD) at SF 5
Mike Napoli (CLE) at LAA 5
Chris Carter (MIL) vs. NYM 5
John Jaso (PIT) vs. STL 5
Mitch Moreland (TEX) at SEA 5
Byung Ho Park (MIN) vs. BOS 5
Carlos Santana (CLE) at LAA 5
Justin Smoak (TOR) vs. BAL 5

Napoli may have a tough time going deep in Angels Stadium, even against SP David Huff. With his salary unjustly above all other one-baggers, DFS players will be better off fading the veteran slugger.

Jaso is a decent cash game option with a .367 OBP and the strong Pittsburgh offense behind him.

Tyler White (HOU) at TB 4
Prince Fielder (TEX) at SEA 3
Albert Pujols (LAA) vs. CLE 3
James Loney (NYM) at MIL 3
