Uribe: Indians' trainers don't have a cup that fits me

Juan Uribe took a ground ball right in his own personal hot corner on Sunday. A 106-mph ground ball, to be specific, that forced him to be stretchered off the field with what was later diagnosed as a testicular contusion.

The injury may have been made all the worse by the fact that Uribe wasn't wearing a cup to protect himself from those pesky ground balls. While many would expect he might adopt the protective measure going forward, that may not be happening for a rather, er, specific reason.

"I don't think the trainers have my size," Uribe told reporters Monday.

Point taken, Juan. Hey, as long as everybody's here, what were you thinking about after getting hit by Mike Trout right in the Mike Trouts?

"No more babies," said the father of four.

For the record, the 37-year-old also - and most importantly - said he was feeling better, though he didn't take batting practice ahead of the Cleveland Indians' game against the Kansas City Royals.
