In 2009, an eight-foot putt on the final hole at Turnberry was all that stood between Tom Watson and a record-tying sixth Open title. At the age of 59, it would have made him the oldest major champion. But it wasn't to be. Watson left his par putt short, then fell to Stewart Cink in a four-hole playoff.
