Here are theScore's shortstop value rankings for Tuesday, June 21 (all stats exclude Monday's games):

Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Corey Seager (LAD) vs. WAS 9
Francisco Lindor (CLE) vs. TB 9
Tim Anderson (CWS) at BOS 8
Jonathan Villar (MIL) at OAK 8
Brandon Crawford (SF) at PIT 8

Regressed of late, following a power surge just a couple weeks ago, but Seager is still hitting .288 against right-handed pitching. Eleven of his 15 home runs have come at home and the same number have come against righties. He's the top option against Nationals RHP Tanner Roark.

Lindor had yet another monster game Monday, hitting a home run and stealing a base. The switch-hitter prefers the right side of the plate, and he'll draw the inexperienced Blake Snell.

Anderson's price has finally risen, after recording three multi-hit games in his past five outings. He's stolen just one base but it was his only attempt. As he gets more comfortable in the majors, the attempts will be more frequent.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Troy Tulowitzki (TOR) vs. ARI 7
Eduardo Nunez (MIN) vs. PHI 7
Ketel Marte (SEA) at DET 6
Trevor Story (COL) at NYY 6
Zack Cozart (CIN) at TEX 6
Danny Worth (HOU) vs. LAA 6
Eduardo Escobar (MIN) vs. PHI 6

Tulowitzki demonstrated his full health by hitting a home run and going 2-for-4 in his second game back from injury. He's 2-for-8 overall with just one strikeout since his return. He's struggled against lefties this season, but he's still a .314 hitter for his career.

Nunez has continued his unexpected success, and he continues to be worthy of consideration regardless of matchup or location. Six of his nine home runs have come at home, as he proves to be immune to the depth of Target Field.

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Carlos Correa (HOU) vs. LAA 5
Nick Ahmed (ARI) at TOR 5
Javier Baez (CHC) vs. STL 5
Adeiny Hechavarria (MIA) vs. ATL 5
Asdrubal Cabrera (NYM) vs. KC 5
Addison Russell (CHC) vs. STL 5
Jordy Mercer (PIT) vs. SF 5

While Correa's potential can't be ignored, neither can his aggressive reverse splits. He's hitting just .190 against left-handed pitching, making him a wise fade against Angels LHP Hector Santiago in cash games.

The pair of Cubs infielders have shown flashes of late, but both lack consistency and are very risky options in a difficult matchup with Cardinals RHP Adam Wainwright.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Brad Miller (TB) at CLE 4
J.J. Hardy (BAL) vs. SD 4
Alexei Ramirez (SD) at BAL 4
Alcides Escobar (KC) at NYM 4
Freddy Galvis (PHI) at MIN 3
Didi Gregorius (NYY) vs. COL 3
Jose Iglesias (DET) vs. SEA 3
Aledmys Diaz (STL) at CHC 3
Elvis Andrus (TEX) vs. CIN 3
Marcus Semien (OAK) vs. MIL 2
Xander Bogaerts (BOS) vs. CWS 2
Andrelton Simmons (LAA) at HOU 2
Danny Espinosa (WAS) at LAD 2

While Miller has been performing well of late, he draws a very tough matchup against Indians RHP Corey Kluber.

Semien has power he's hitting .210 against righties this season, eliminating him from cash-game consideration.

Fade Bogaerts against White Sox LHP Chris Sale.
