Bruins will take one last shot at signing Eriksson: 'It may not happen'

The Boston Bruins and Loui Eriksson are reportedly at an impasse with respect to a contract extension, but the club will take one more shot at signing the winger before he hits free agency, general manager Don Sweeney said Thursday.
The length of the deal is apparently what's holding negotiations up.
Eriksson, 31 on July 17, is one of the premier offensive talents set to hit the market on July 1. He scored 30 goals last season.
Sweeney also added that defenseman Zach Trotman and backup goalie Jonas Gustavsson will hit free agency, likely ending their time with the club.
