After England tried to regain the lead through Raheem Sterling's darting runs and a few pop shots on goal, Iceland struck.
Kolbeinn Sigthorsson bagged his second goal of the Euro 2016 campaign in the 19th minute of Monday's Round of 16 bout, sidestepping away from some statuesque defending before benefiting off Joe Hart's butterfingers.
A loss would mark one of the most shameful results in England's history.
