Red Wings re-sign Marchenko to 2-year deal

The Detroit Red Wings have locked up one of their two restricted defensemen.
The team has re-signed Alexey Marchenko to a two-year contract worth $2.9 million, according to MLive.com's Ansar Kahn.
Marchenko is coming off his first full season with the Red Wings since being drafted in the seventh round in 2011. In 66 games, he managed two goals and nine assists.
