Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Xander Bogaerts (BOS) vs. TEX 9
Corey Seager (LAD) vs. BAL 8
Troy Tulowitzki (TOR) vs. KC 8

Bogaerts hits at the top of baseball's most potent offense, and a matchup at home against Rangers' LHP Martin Perez, who has conceded all 10 of his homers to right-handed batters makes for the perfect cash game play.

The Dodgers have struck gold with their rookie shortstop who has not disappointed. Seager leads the Dodgers in almost every offensive category and is quickly ascending to become one of the best shortstops in the entire league. He has a clear path to returning value in all formats.

The industry has yet to buy into the resurgence of Tulowitzki, which leaves his adequate cost and extremely high-floor hovering among the mid-priced targets. He has plenty of value Wednesday night with the Blue Jays offense rolling, and his 1.039 OPS with four homers in his last 10 games makes him worth the investment.

Mid Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Manny Machado (BAL) at LAD 7
Jonathan Villar (MIL) at WAS 6
Aledmys Diaz (STL) vs. PIT 5

Machado was putting together an MVP-caliber season, but has struggled of late, finding the cheap seats just once in his past 15 outings. Though he certainly doesn't lack the power to reach the warning track at Dodger Stadium, the ballpark has produced the fewest runs in the MLB which hampers the value of almost every Orioles bat.

Villar has been a machine on the basepaths this season, stealing 26 bases, the most among all players. He has also been patient in the batter's box, walking 42 times, which puts him in second place behind Astros' Carlos Correa. At a cheap price tag, roll him confidently in tournaments.

The Cardinals as a whole aren't as efficient against southpaws as they are when a righty is on the mound. Diaz and his battery-mates will battle LHP Jeff Locke, who has surrendered eight of his 13 homers in the last 10 games. Still, Diaz could struggle to return value against his lofty cost.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Trevor Story (COL) at SF 4
Ketel Marte (SEA) at HOU 3
Elvis Andrus (TEX) at BOS 3

Story faces the terrifying right arm of Giants' Johnny Cueto Tuesday night away from Coors Field, which really hinders his value. Even though Cueto has been knocked around his last two games, Story and the Rockies are in for a long night.

Marte and Andrus only supply value on the basepaths, so it's best to roster the aforementioned Villar who has a much higher floor and ceiling.
