West Ham is confident of completing a deal for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, with the two clubs at an advanced stage in the negotiation process, according to ESPN FC's Peter O'Rourke.
The east London outfit has made no secret about its intention to sign a high-profile striker for the upcoming Premier League campaign, in which the Hammers will play for the first time at the new Olympic Stadium.
However, West Ham isn't the only party interested in Bacca. Paris Saint-Germain - now managed by Bacca's former Sevilla boss Unai Emery - and Atletico Madrid have also emerged as suitors.
Bacca only joined Milan last summer and scored 18 goals as the Rossoneri finished in seventh place in Serie A - one spot short of a Europa League berth.
The 29-year-old's agent, Sergio Barila, has said on more than one occasion that Bacca is happy in northern Italy, but Barila conceded in a recent interview with Fantagazzetta that several clubs are after the player.

Bacca, who's on holiday after leading Colombia to third place in the Copa America Centenario, will discuss Milan's plans upon returning from his vacation, according to Barila. A Chinese consortium is close to a majority takeover of the Italian giant, which could also effect Bacca's decision.
The first target on West Ham's wish list was Alexandre Lacazette, but that pursuit seems to have met a dead end. The Lyon striker is now of interest to Arsenal, which can offer the 25-year-old Frenchman the prospect of Champions League football.
West Ham qualified for the Europa League courtesy of Manchester United's FA Cup win.
