Joe Frazier's unwashed jock strap up for auction
Goldin Auctions
The jock strap worn by Joe Frazier during the Fight of the Century is hitting the auction block.
Frazier gave the jock strap to friend David Wolf after defeating Muhammad Ali in their March 8, 1971 bout, the first of three fights between the two boxing legends. The jock was stored "in a carton" in Wolf's apartment and discovered after his death, according to Goldin Auctions, the company auctioning it off.
The jock will be auctioned off beginning July 11, with a starting bid of $5,000.
