The mystifying slump Giancarlo Stanton's been mired in for most of 2016 hasn't lowered Vegas' confidence in him winning the Home Run Derby.

The Miami Marlins slugger is the favorite to take home his first Derby crown on Monday in San Diego, according to Bovada LV.

Though Stanton's struggles have been pronounced this year, the 26-year-old has still flashed his prodigious power through the course of 2016, and has smacked four homers since the beginning of July. He's also experienced in the Derby, having participated in 2014.

Stanton's also expected to win his individual matchup, as he's favored at minus-175 to move past Robinson Cano into Round 2.

Baltimore Orioles slugger Mark Trumbo, who leads all of baseball with 26 home runs, has the second-best odds in the field of eight at 15/4. He's followed by Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, sitting at 15/2.

Los Angeles Dodgers rookie sensation Corey Seager is the long shot of the evening at 9/1 odds to win the event.
