Make it 3-for-3 in the UFC for "The Korean Superboy."
Eighteen-fight UFC veteran Thiago Tavares became Doo Ho Choi's latest victim Friday, falling prey to a straight right hand from Choi that robbed him of his senses and left him vulnerable to a follow-up punch that put him out at the 2:42 mark of the first round.
It was the third first-round knockout in three UFC appearances for Choi, and his eighth straight knockout win overall. He's undefeated in his past 13 fights.
In his postfight interview, the 25-year-old Choi called out the winner of an upcoming bout between Cub Swanson and Tatsuya Kawajiri.
