Tim Duncan retires after 19 seasons with Spurs
Tim Duncan announced his retirement on Monday following 19 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.
Duncan finishes his career with five championships, 26,496 points (14th all-time), 15,091 rebounds (sixth), and 3,020 blocks (fifth). The 40-year-old finished his career with a .710 win percentage - the best mark over a 19-year span in NBA history.
Duncan goes down as the most decorated player in Spurs history, collecting 15 All-NBA Team honors, 15 NBA All-Defensive team selections, two MVPs, and three Finals MVPs during his illustrious career.

With age finally catching up to him, Duncan endured arguably his worst season as a pro in 2015-16, averaging career-lows in points (8.6), rebounds (7.3), and blocks (1.3), While his offense took a hit, the Big Fundamental still managed to dominate on the other end, leading the NBA in defensive real-plus minus (5.41).
The Wake Forest product averaged 19 points, 10.8 rebounds, three assists, and 2.2 blocks over 1,392 regular-season games.
