Report: Former Michigan RB Derrick Green transfers to TCU

Nearly five months after leaving Michigan, Derrick Green has found a landing spot at TCU.
Green has elected to play his final year of college football with the Horned Frogs as a graduate transfer, a source told 247Sports' Jeremy Clark via Brendan F. Quinn of Mlive.com.
Michigan released Green in January in order for the running back to seek a transfer. Over the course of his career with the Wolverines, Green rushed for 898 yards and seven touchdowns on 212 carries in 28 career games.
Green will be looked at to compete to fill the void at the running back position left by the departing Aaron Green, who signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 NFL Draft.
