In and out of Sevilla's squad, Fernando Llorente is on Swansea City's radar.
In conversation with Dafydd Pritchard of BBC Wales Sport, Swansea's first-team coach, Alan Curtis, admitted Llorente is among the players the Swans are targeting in the summer transfer window, saying the Spanish forward is "on a list where you could name at least half a dozen strikers."
"(Llorente) is one of the players who has been mentioned," Curtis said. "It's probably time we brought a big signing in."
Curtis' words echo those of Huw Jenkins, Swansea's chairman, who said the team wants two new strikers.
Llorente joined Sevilla last year after two seasons at Juventus, but he only tallied four goals and 16 La Liga appearances during his inaugural campaign with the Andalusian club.
Real Sociedad is reportedly in advanced talks with Sevilla over a deal involving Llorente, with the Basque club looking to initially sign the 31-year-old on loan.
