Yankees, A-Rod to hold press conference Sunday morning
The New York Yankees and Alex Rodriguez have announced a press conference scheduled for Sunday morning at 11 a.m. ET at Yankee Stadium.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman and team manager Joe Girardi will also be at the conference, according to Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe.
While the topic of the press conference is currently unknown, reports surfaced earlier in August that the club was considering releasing the 41-year-old due to a disappointing performance this season.
