Mariners gift retiring Ortiz with 34 pounds of fish

The farewell tour of David Ortiz continued towards the west coast and into Seattle on Wednesday, as the Boston Red Sox squared off against the Seattle Mariners, and with that came yet another strange gift for the retiring slugger.

Along with a heart-warming presentation featuring a cameo from famous Mariners designated hitter Edgar Martinez - who presented Big Papi with a framed version of his first MLB contract - and what appeared to be a hip-hop themed graffiti painting gift from Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz and Felix Hernandez, Seattle also gave Ortiz 34 pounds of fish.

The 40-year-old Ortiz can add the ridiculously fishy gift to his collection, which already features a wide assortment of cowboy attire, some peanut butter, and a humidor of cigars.
