San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey's face was a little worse for wear after a headfirst dive didn't go as smoothly as he would have liked.

The All-Star faceplanted with little grace, but it got the job done as he was called safe on the play.

It's been a rough week for San Francisco stars, as fan favorite Hunter Pence showed off a nasty shiner ahead of Monday's game, thanks to a foul ball to the face on Saturday.

The Giants had some fun at the expense of their star players, tweeting a photo of both Pence and Posey in their current conditions.
