Here are theScore's outfielder value rankings for Sunday, August 14 (all stats exclude Saturday's games):

Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Hyun Soo Kim (BAL) at SF 9
Ryan Braun (MIL) vs. CIN 9
Aaron Judge (NYY) vs. TB 8

Kim faces Johnny Cueto, but that information comes secondary to his bargain-barrel price point which criminally underrates both his premier spot in the order (second!) and his effectiveness against right-handing pitching (.868 OPS!). If Kim can get a hit and a run, he returns cash game value. If Cueto has another outing where he allows five earned runs, Kim will no doubt hit GPP returns.

With a raw power tool that has been graded as "plus plus", Judge also played the role of executioner in his first big league game, launching a massive homer to dead center field in his first at-bat. If he continues to knock the cover off the ball, expect his price to skyrocket. For now, he can be rostered as a high-end "scrub" in a stars-and-scrubs lineup

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Nomar Mazara (TEX) vs. DET 7
George Springer (HOU) at TOR 6
Tyler Naquin (CLE) vs. LAA 5

Springer has a nice six-game hit streak and has posted a respectable .887 OPS over his last 10 games. He'll face Marcus Stroman, owner of a 4.77 ERA and 1.31 WHIP on the season, at Toronto's hitter-friendly ballpark. Springer has game-changing (and tournament-winning) power, but he'll need to overcome his struggles against RHPs; he's hit just .251 against fellow righties.

Naquin has been struggling, recording a triple-slash line of .161/.270/.258 over his last 10 games, but a matchup against Jered Weaver could help right the ship. Weaver's low-speed offerings are prone to being deposited over the outfield wall if he isn't careful and he's allowed four or more earned runs in five of his last 10 starts. Consider Naquin for GPP lineups.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Michael Saunders (TOR) vs. HOU 4
Jackie Bradley Jr. (BOS) vs. ARI 3
Stephen Piscotty (STL) at CHC 2

The Red Sox have the best outfield OPS against RHPs, and their outfielders, Bradley Jr. takes the cake with a .929 OPS vs. RHPs. Against an occasionally erratic pitcher like Zack Greinke, Bradley's contrarian appeal would be strong. However: with a lingering toe injury and a .189 BA over his last 10 games, Bradley might be headed for another down game -- if he plays at all.

Piscotty is a bit of a trap as well. While his salary is low enough to warrant a flier even though his OBP is just .214 over his last 10 games, statistically speaking, he is the worst Cardinals' outfielder against RHPs, posting a mediocre .726 OPS. Against a veteran righty in John Lackey -- backed by the league's best defense -- Piscotty is unlikely to break out of his slump.
