NFL Awards Predictions
- Rookies of the Year
- Most Valuable Player
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Offensive Player of the Year
- Coach of the Year
Coach of the Year
Bill Belichick, Patriots
The Patriots will weather the storm of Tom Brady's suspension and still finish as the AFC's top seed. - David P. Woods
Belichick deserves to win this award every year. The future Hall of Famer maximizes the talent on his roster, while convincing his players to buy in to the team dynamic he's cultivated in New England. Arians and Zimmer are excellent head coaches, but no one does a better job than Belichick. - Justin Boone
Bruce Arians, Cardinals
Bruce Arians forever. This man can do no wrong when it comes to coaching football. - Mitch Sanderson
Mike Tomlin, Steelers
Tomlin remains one of the league's most underappreciated head coaches. But if he leads the Steelers to a first-round bye in dominant fashion - with Martavis Bryant out for the season and Le'Veon Bell missing four games - he should be a strong favorite for the award. - Jack Browne
Mike Zimmer, Vikings
Zimmer is one of the more respected coaches in the NFL. In his third season with the Vikings, expect the defensive guru to take Minnesota to new heights. - Michael McClymont
Jack Del Rio, Raiders
Sporting a 75-80 career head coaching record, Del Rio is an unconventional choice for this award. However, it's often presented to the coach of the team that's shown the most significant improvement, and Del Rio is expected to lead a top-heavy roster to the playoffs. - Arun Srinivasan
Jason Garrett, Cowboys
We'd see a yearly rotation between Belichick and Arians if this award actually went to the best coach. But given that it's more about year-over-year improvement, Garrett should be a heavy favorite. Getting Tony Romo and Dez Bryant back could see Dallas go from 4-12 to as high as 12-4. - Dan Wilkins
