Parker: Rio 2016 was my last tournament with French national team
San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker has played his last game for the French national team.
After France was bounced from the Olympics by a dominant Spanish outfit on Wednesday, the 34-year-old said Rio 2016 was his last international tournament.
France head coach Vince Collet called Parker "the best French player forever," and said he wished Parker's national-team career could've had a happier ending.

Parker finished with 14 points and four assists in Wednesday's loss, and leaves his final event with France having averaged 13.2 points and 3.8 assists on 51.2 percent shooting across five games.
On top of the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, Parker has represented France at every EuroBasket since 2001, a total of 10 international tournaments. Though he's never medaled at the Games, he led the team to gold at EuroBasket 2013 (being named tournament MVP in the process), bronze in 2005 and 2015, and silver in 2011. During the 2015 edition, he became the all-time leading scorer in EuroBasket history.
All told, Parker has represented his country in 66 official games.
