Borthwick-Jackson links up with Wolves on season-long loan
Manchester United youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson will spend the 2016-17 season on loan at ambitious Championship side Wolves, which has made the 19-year-old full-back its seventh signing of the summer.
Borthwick-Jackson made the senior team sheet for the first time under Louis van Gaal as United dealt with an injury crisis at the back. He made 14 appearances in all last season, and was rewarded with a new contract until June 2022 at the earliest.

But manager Jose Mourinho obviously couldn't afford Borthwick-Jackson the same opportunities, not with Luke Shaw back in the lineup and Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind available as full-back options.
So the Portuguese allowed the United product to gain experience with a Wolves outfit that's gunning for promotion to the Premier League.
However, the Manchester Evening News reports the Red Devils can recall Borthwick-Jackson from his loan spell in January.
Big things are happening at the Molineux Stadium, where new Chinese ownership has rapidly changed perspective. The consortium that bought the club has ties to super-agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Mourinho as well as other Spanish and Portuguese players.
Wolves has already signed three players from Benfica, including Ola John's arrival on Monday. The 24-year-old winger sealed a season-long loan deal, following in the footsteps of Benfica teammates Helder Costa and Joao Teixeira this summer.
