The Los Angeles Lakers will have fancy new training digs come next summer.

The team announced plans Wednesday for the UCLA Health Training Center, a new complex slated to open in a year that will feature top-of-the-line amenities for high-level training, offices for the Lakers and their D-League affiliate's business and basketball ops staff, and two courts - one of which will have arena seating for up to 750 spectators.

Located in El Segundo, Calif., the new site is also set to include on-site health services, dual cryogenics chambers, a barber shop, and a lounge for making "digital connections."

With construction already underway, several players - suitably dressed for the occasion - were on hand for the announcement.

At least one player came away excited about the complex.

"It's more than helpful," D'Angelo Russell told ESPN's Baxter Holmes. "The 82-game season, plus more including the playoffs, is wear and tear on your body. It starts with the rehab and trying to keep your body 100 percent before every practice, before every game, before every road trip. (It's great) just knowing that you have the best people going into the practice facility every day to help your body do that for you."

Here's what the finished product is projected to look like:
