Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
A.J. Green (CIN) | at PIT | 10 |
Brandin Cooks (NO) | at NYG | 10 |
Kelvin Benjamin (CAR) | vs. SF | 9 |
Amari Cooper (OAK) | vs. ATL | 8 |
Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG) | vs. NO | 8 |
Julio Jones (ATL) | at OAK | 8 |
Green and Cooks blew up in Week 1 and have matchups fit to do so again in Week 2. Green will take on the Steelers, against whom he posted 17 catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns in two games last year. Cooks throttled the Giants for 88 yards and two scores last year in Week 8.
Despite a "snap count" and poor matchup, Benjamin saw 12 targets in his first game since 2014. The third-year player finished with six receptions, 91 yards, and a score. Look for him to produce similar numbers against a much weaker San Francisco defense.
Beckham and Jones are both elite options going into Week 2, but they come at massive price tags. Take Beckham over Jones as the New Orleans defense is non-existent.

Jordy Nelson (GB) | at MIN | 6 |
Jarvis Landry (MIA) | at NE | 6 |
Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) | vs. IND | 6 |
Golden Tate (DET) | vs. TEN | 6 |
Stefon Diggs (MIN) | vs. GB | 6 |
Brandon LaFell (CIN) | at PIT | 6 |
Mohamed Sanu (ATL) | at OAK | 6 |
Michael Floyd (ARI) | vs. TB | 6 |
DeSean Jackson (WAS) | vs. DAL | 6 |
Donte Moncrief (IND) | at DEN | 6 |
T.Y. Hilton (IND) | at DEN | 6 |
Mike Evans (TB) | at ARI | 6 |
Phillip Dorsett (IND) | at DEN | 6 |
Snead seemed to cement himself as the Saints' WR2 after he caught all nine of his targets on his way to 172 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. He and Cooks should feast once more against New York.
It was quite the debut for Fuller, who collected 107 yards on 11 targets. With Hopkins demanding attention, Fuller should continue to have much easier matchups all season long.
Wallace did nearly all of his Week 1 damage on a 66-yard score. He may be best reserved for tournament play, however, as Joe Flacco hit 10 different receivers to start the season.
Sanders could see a significant bump in action if counterpart Demaryius Thomas is forced to miss time due to a hip injury. He'll be especially valuable in PPR formats with Thomas out.
NAME | OPPOSITION | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Sterling Shepard (NYG) | vs. NO | 5 |
Allen Hurns (JAX) | at SD | 5 |
Tyler Lockett (SEA) | at LA | 5 |
Michael Thomas (NO) | at NYG | 5 |
Victor Cruz (NYG) | vs. NO | 5 |
Tajae Sharpe (TEN) | at DET | 5 |
Markus Wheaton (PIT) | vs. CIN | 5 |
Randall Cobb (GB) | at MIN | 5 |
Dez Bryant (DAL) | at WAS | 5 |
Davante Adams (GB) | at MIN | 5 |
Steve Smith Sr. (BAL) | at CLE | 5 |
Travis Benjamin (SD) | vs. JAX | 5 |
Corey Coleman (CLE) | vs. BAL | 5 |
Shepard picked up 43 yards and a touchdown for a solid but unspectacular fantasy performance. He draws another fine matchup against New Orleans, but Beckham should be the real star in this contest.
Wheaton should have some contrarian appeal after sitting out Week 1. Assuming he takes on the WR2 role beside Brown, Wheaton will be in good position to return value this week and throughout the season. He closed last year with a touchdown in four of the final six weeks.
Bryant almost salvaged his Week 1 via a touchdown that was ultimately overturned. Unfortunately, he finished with just one catch for eight yards as rookie QB Dak Prescott was more comfortable checking down to either Jason Witten or Cole Beasley. Approach Bryant's superstar price tag with caution.
Nothing to See Here
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Pierre Garcon (WAS) | vs. DAL | 4 |
Torrey Smith (SF) | at CAR | 4 |
John Brown (ARI) | vs. TB | 4 |
DeVante Parker (MIA) | at NE | 4 |
Tavon Austin (LA) | vs. SEA | 4 |
Eli Rogers (PIT) | vs. CIN | 3 |
Terrelle Pryor (CLE) | vs. BAL | 3 |
Devin Funchess (CAR) | vs. SF | 3 |
Anquan Boldin (DET) | vs. TEN | 3 |
Ted Ginn Jr. (CAR) | vs. SF | 3 |
Demaryius Thomas (DEN) | vs. IND | 3 |
Kamar Aiken (BAL) | at CLE | 3 |
Danny Amendola (NE) | vs. MIA | 3 |
Brown was almost non-existent in an Arizona offense that involved eight different receivers, with 23 of 37 passes head to either Fitzgerald, Floyd, or David Johnson. With all the mouths to feed, Brown is a tournament flier.
Thomas is seeking a second opinion on his injured hip and could be in danger of missing more than just Week 2. Monitor his status throughout the week, though it may best to keep any optimism regarding his availability in check.
