Suns' Chriss wants to dunk on DeAndre Jordan
Phoenix Suns rookie Marquese Chriss is looking to start his career off with a bang, and has his sights set on crowning one prominent big man in particular.
Lauded for his leaping ability and athleticism, the 6-foot-9 forward recently told FanSided's Ian Levy that he'd really like to dunk on Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.
That's a lofty goal considering Jordan's skill at protecting the rim. He's one of the best shot-blockers in the game and has made the past two NBA All-Defensive teams.
Chriss, meanwhile, is a 19-year-old with a 38.5-inch vertical leap. His favorite dunkers growing up were Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, and Shaquille O'Neal.
He said fellow rookie Tyler Ulis has been throwing him the "best lobs so far" in Phoenix.

Luckily for Chriss, the Suns and Clippers are Pacific Division rivals, so he'll have four cracks at Jordan during the regular season, with the first one coming Oct. 31.
Aim high, kiddo.
