Bosh calls failed physical a minor setback, still hopes to make return

Chris Bosh remains extremely optimistic that he will be able to return to the Miami Heat at some point, although his latest failed medical test would lead one to believe that won't be happening anytime soon.

The 11-time NBA All-Star had the intention of releasing the second episode of his Uninterrupted series "Bosh Rebuilt" on Friday. However, because further clotting was found in his latest physical, Bosh wasn't cleared to take part in training camp, preventing him from releasing the show, which he revealed in a video statement.

"Little setbacks happen, but that doesn't change my intentions and what I want to accomplish," Bosh said.

Blood clots have prematurely ended each of Bosh's last two seasons, and while the latest complications aren't considered life-threatening, the 32-year-old can't take the floor while on thinners, as it carries far too great a risk should he get cut during action.
