Value Rankings
C | 1B/DH | 2B | SS | 3B | OF | SP
Top Options
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Hunter Renfroe (SD) | at ARI | 10 |
Manuel Margot (SD) | at ARI | 10 |
Carlos Gomez (TEX) | vs. TB | 9 |
DFS players who don't target either Renfroe, Margot, or both are making a grave mistake. These highly-touted prospects have come onto the scene with a bang and cost a fraction of other established options.
Renfroe gets the top spot thanks to his power stroke. The 24-year old righty has four homers in his past five games.
Gomez has hit .415 in his past 10 and lit up his former team, the Milwaukee Brewers, going 7-for-12 with eight RBIs in the first three games of this week's Milwaukee-Texas series
Mid-Tier Targets
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Cameron Maybin (DET) | at ATL | 7 |
Jay Bruce (NYM) | at PHI | 7 |
Ender Inciarte (ATL) | vs. DET | 6 |
Maybin has 16 hits and 15 runs scored in his past nine games. He's a high priced option, but he's a strong cash game option.
The past five games were what the Mets were looking for when they originally acquired Bruce. The former Cincinnati Red has three homers and seven hits in his past five.
Nothing to See Here
NAME | OPPONENT | VALUE |
---|---|---|
Nomar Mazara (TEX) | vs. TB | 4 |
Chris Young (BOS) | vs. TOR | 3 |
Brandon Moss (STL) | vs. PIT | 1 |
Young has just one extra-base hit and .179 average in his past 10 games. Though he's likely to draw into the lineup with Boston having the A.L. East locked up, a full slate of at-bats still doesn't make him appealing.
Moss is mired in an epic slump, hitting .075 for the month of September. He shouldn't be rostered in any DFS game.
