Aaron Ekblad has been cleared by Florida Panthers' medical personnel after suffering an injury at the World Cup of Hockey, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.
Ekblad left the tournament after being hurt on a big hit by Finland's Leo Komarov.
The ailment was initially reported as a "mild concussion," before being classified by TSN's Bob McKenzie's sources as a stiff neck.
The 20-year-old was reportedly considered day to day.
