Jonathan Quick will miss at least the next handful of games for the Los Angeles Kings.
As the club awaits MRI results on the workhorse goalie's lower-body injury, his status has been classified as week to week, according to Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times.
Quick suffered the knock in the first period of Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks, and was replaced in the final 40 minutes by backup Jeff Zatkoff.
With Quick headed to the injured reserve, the Kings will summon Peter Budaj to help shoulder the load.
