Report: 49ers' Bowman feared to have suffered torn Achilles, will undergo MRI

San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman is feared to have suffered a torn Achilles during Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Bowman will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

The All-Pro linebacker was carted to the locker room after crumpling to the ground on a non-contact play in the third quarter.

Bowman missed the entire 2014 season recovering from a torn ACL and MCL, incurred in a gruesome incident during the 2013 NFC Championship Game.

The 28-year-old recorded eight tackles and a sack prior to leaving the game.
