FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Internal Revenue Service has filed a tax lien of $191,470.70 against Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Brent Grimes and his wife, Miko.
The notice, filed Thursday on their home in Davie, Florida, says the Grimes owe taxes for a period ending in 2014.
Grimes played for the Miami Dolphins from 2013-15 before signing a two-year, $13.5-million deal with the Bucs. Miko Grimes has 19,000 Twitter followers and is known for her strong opinions and profane posts.
Grimes' agent didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from The Associated Press about the lien.
Grimes has started all five games this year for the Bucs and had his first interception of the year last Sunday.
