Barkley: Warriors won't win title even with Durant
It should come as little surprise that Charles Barkley is still not a believer of the Golden State Warriors.
Despite adding a former MVP to their roster this summer, the TNT analyst still thinks the Warriors won't win a title, saying that teams who rely on jump shots aren't capable of winning championships.
"I just don't think you can win a championship shooting jumpers," Barkley told Bleacher Report's Howard Beck.
While the Warriors obviously won a title in 2015 using this strategy, Barkley says that injuries played a big part in their title run.
Golden State has been well aware of Barkley's criticism over the last couple of seasons, poking fun at Sir Charles after winning the 2014-15 championship.
Barkley's disdain for jump-shooting teams could be due to his own struggles from deep, ranking as the worst three-point shooter of all-time with at least 1000 attempts.
Even if Barkley isn't a proponent of Golden State's style of play, the rest of the league appears to be, as the Warriors enter 2016-17 as the overwhelming favorite to hoist another title this June.
