Kucherov dealing with undisclosed injury
Dan Hamilton / USA TODAY Sports
Nikita Kucherov was forced to leave Thursday's game in Montreal with an apparent injury, the extent of which is not yet known by Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper.
Kucherov left in the first period after this spill into the boards, but Cooper added the injury may not be directly related to the fall.
Additionally, Cooper indicated the injury is not a concussion, according to Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times.
In six games heading into Thursday's action, Kucherov had recorded one goal and six assists.
His status will likely be updated prior to Saturday's game against New Jersey.
