Wall apologizes for outburst on Celtics' Smart
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall could get fined by the NBA for the second time this week for the flagrant-2 foul that got him ejected from the Wizards' win over the Boston Celtics, and he offered an apology late Wednesday night.
"Just want to take a moment to apologize to my coaches, teammates, and fans for losing my cool tonight," Wall tweeted after the game. "The last thing I would ever want to do is to let you all down. I love and respect this game (too) much."
During the fourth quarter, Wall drove Marcus Smart into the floor in the same manner a safety tackles a running back. Extracurriculars ensued, and Wall was ejected after being assessed a flagrant 2.

Wall had just been fined $25,000 for an "inappropriate interaction with a game official" in the final seconds of Monday's loss to the Houston Rockets.
