Rinne, Kucherov, McDavid named NHL's 3 Stars for November
The NHL has honored a trio of players for outstanding play during the past month.
Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne, Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov, and Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid have been named the NHL’s Three Stars for November.
Rinne shared the league lead with nine wins (9-1-2) and led all goalies with a .949 save percentage in 12 appearances.
He also made Predators history:
Kucherov recorded 10 goals and 18 points in 15 games, helping keep the Lightning afloat in the absence of Steven Stamkos.
McDavid led the NHL with 19 points in 15 games, and recorded his first career hat trick. He leads the NHL in scoring with 31 points.
There are 12 games on the schedule for Dec. 1, giving a host of players opportunity to get a leg up on the next wave of monthly stars.
