Westbrook ties Jordan with 7th straight triple-double
Another game for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and another triple-double for All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook.
On Friday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena against the visiting Houston Rockets, Westbrook notched his seventh triple-double in a row, becoming the first player since the legendary Michael Jordan to accomplish that feat.
He finished the game with a line of 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in 36 minutes, yet it wasn't enough to keep Oklahoma City's winning streak alive as the Rockets eked out a narrow 102-99 road win.

It was also Westbrook's 12th triple-double of the 2016-17 campaign, which is one less than the rest of the Association combined.
The Thunder are now 9-3 on the season when the 28-year-old has such a line. He's two away from Wilt Chamberlain's all-time record of nine consecutive triple-doubles set back in 1967-68.
