ANA | ARI | BOS | BUF | CGY | CAR | CHI | COL | CLB | DAL | DET | EDM | FLA| LA | MIN | MTL | NAS | NJ | NYI | NYR | OTT | PHI | PIT | SJ | STL | TB | TOR | VAN | WAS | WPG

G Ryan Miller/Jacob Markstrom

Miller has played poorly enough to evenly split time with Markstrom, who hasn't been a whole lot better. On a team that looks more and more like it's going nowhere, Miller is nearly impossible to believe in. Markstrom is only a bit better because he would have been taken off the wire instead of drafted at all. This is a situation best left alone. Grade: D-/D+

LW Daniel Sedin

Daniel went into the season as the most appealing fantasy option. This is the main reason why his returns are largely disappointing. His goal scoring has actually been decent, but his playmaking numbers have dropped. In a vacuum, his offense is okay. As a top-100 preseason player, it's been disappointing. Grade: C-

C Henrik Sedin

Henrik leads the Canucks in assists, but still appears ready to finish below his overall career numbers. Leading a team of underperformers is not an indication of success. Still, he hasn't been worse than brother Daniel despite being owned in far fewer leagues. Grade: C

C Bo Horvat

Relative to preseason rankings, Horvat is probably the best fantasy option on Vancouver. This isn't saying much. Horvat is neck-and-neck with the Sedins for team leader in offensive categories, but he's not a must-own by any stretch. Grade: C

LW Loui Eriksson

Eriksson has turned out to be a questionable signing and a generally poor producer. Eriksson scored 30 goals last season. It's not happening this year. He shouldn't be on many rosters, but name recognition goes a long way. On a better team, he might be worth a shot, but he's fantasy poison right now. Grade: F

C Brandon Sutter

Sutter is tied for fifth-worst plus-minus rating at -15. An imperfect stat, sure, but he's not making up for it enough in meaningful ways. His 18 points in 35 games aren't atrocious, and the balance is nice, but like the rest of his teammates, it's not enough to form a rousing endorsement. Grade: C-

LW Sven Baertschi

Baertschi has more points than Eriksson and is rostered by only a handful of owners. His ownership shouldn't necessarily increase, but it furthers the point of how poorly Eriksson has played. Baertschi is an occasional daily fantasy bargain option and not much else. Grade: D+

D Alex Edler

Edler has three points in 22 games. His 48 blocked shots only ease the pain so much in banger leagues. Otherwise, his usual solid production is curiously absent. He can be dropped, but a resurgence isn't entirely out of the question even if it can't be expected. Grade: F

D Ben Hutton

Hutton is one of the few relatively exciting young talents on the Canucks. That doesn't mean he's worth picking up. He has nine points in 36 games while suffering from a poor plus-minus rating. He should only be owned in leagues that tally blocked shots. Grade: C

Player to watch: RW Jake Virtanen

Virtanen managed a lone assist in 10 games before being sent to the AHL where he has failed to produce to the level he showcased in the WHL with the Calgary Hitmen. He might get a second look at the NHL level if he starts scoring more with Utica.
