G Connor Hellebuyck/Michael Hutchinson
Hellebuyck has taken the reins as the primary netminder, and has mostly done an admirable job posting a 13-11-1 record with a .913 save percentage and 2.62 GAA. Not sterling, but serviceable. Hutchinson has been a couple notches worse, but not so incredibly terrible to completely ignore. He's worth targeting when you know he's getting the start in a favorable matchup. Grade: B/C+
RW Patrik Laine
The rookie is tied for second in the NHL with 19 goals. That Laine was able to adapt so quickly and be this valuable a commodity right off the bat is impressive. He wasn't coming off draft boards until the late rounds, and has been one of the most consistent scoring threats in the league. He's wonderful. Grade: A+
LW Blake Wheeler
Wheeler's value is enhanced in banger leagues, but offers enough balance on the scoring front to be more appealing than the team's other bruisers. Wheeler's scoring pace is a bit off of last year's mark, so his standard league appeal is a little less assured. He's worth holding onto until he really gets going. Grade: B
C Mark Scheifele
Centering a line with Laine and Nikolaj Ehlers helped Scheifele jump out to an incredible 22 points in 19 games. His production has dipped slightly with 10 points in his last 15. Even if he doesn't produce a point per game on average, he's a go-to, though the opportunity to sell high has passed. Grade: A-
RW Nikolaj Ehlers
The assists machine, Ehlers is within striking distance of league leaders in helpers with 21 through 37 games. He's easily on pace to eclipse his rookie numbers, and while his nine goals are less impressive, four of those came in two games over his last five. Ehlers may have upside to spare. Grade: A
C Bryan Little
Those who remained patient waiting for Little to return from injury have benfited greatly. He has 12 points in 15 games since returning to action on November 29. He provides a balanced attack between scoring and setting up teammates. As long as he stays on the ice, he'll be worth holding onto. Grade: B
C/LW Adam Lowry
In standard leagues, Lowry doesn't have much of a case to be rostered. His 97 hits, however, make him a golden boy in banger leagues. He leads the Jets in that category, and he has seven goals to his name, as well. Grade: C+
D Dustin Byfuglien
For his position, Byfuglien is providing expected returns. He might not match his 19 goals from last season, which has depressed his fantasy value, but he gets assists, hits and blocked shots at a decent clip. His shooting percentage is a career-low 3.7, so a correction should be incoming. As is, he's been a slight disappointment relative to his ADP. Grade: B-
D Jacob Trouba
After his holdout, Trouba didn't figure into many owners' fantasy plans. He doesn't do enough on the stat sheet to warrant excitement. He's best suited for banger leagues, because he tallies slightly more than two blocked shots per game, which makes up for his lack of goal scoring. He has eight assists in his 23 games, but he needs to do more to be worth looking at in standard leagues. Grade: C-
Player to watch: LW Kyle Connor
Connor failed to make much of an impression with the Jets in 19 games earlier this season, but the 17th overall pick in 2015 could make an impact when he returns. Connor tallied 71 points in 38 games with the University of Michigan in 2015-16, and while it hasn't translated to pro success yet, his future is promising.
