In the midst of a season that already feels longer than usual, Friday was an exceptionally long night for the Minnesota Vikings.
With a noon kickoff scheduled against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday, the Vikings spent over four hours in their team plane Friday night after it skidded off the runway and got stuck at Appleton International Airport in Wisconsin.
After waiting for so long, players, coaches, and team staff members were finally helped off the plane by the local fire department. Many players were amused by exit via firetruck bucket in the snowy setting.
After 4 hours, the @Vikings' @ceeflashpee84 is officially off the plane!
